Each February 11, Heart of Florida United Way comes together to celebrate 211 Day, shining a spotlight on this crucial resource and expressing our gratitude to our dedicated colleagues who keep it running. This year, we will commemorate 211 Day on Sunday (2/11).

Whether it’s a single mom struggling to feed her kids, a Veteran facing homelessness, or a family unable to afford basic utilities, the 211 Information and Referral Line stands ready to connect our neighbors with essential resources 24/7/365.

In 2021-2022, 69,502 contacts were answered from households who needed help — which, in total, affected approximately 201,058 individuals and their families.

But, we can’t do it alone, and your support is critical.

As little as a $2.11 donation — less than the cost of a cup of coffee — will make a significant difference in aiding the hundreds of thousands of people who reach out to 211 each year.
