Heart of Florida United Way’s Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) matches thousands of volunteers—both groups and individuals—with more than 150 local nonprofit agencies to create exceptional volunteer experiences throughout Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
LIVE UNITED VOLUNTEER EVENTS
The Volunteer Resource Center plans several done-in-a-day volunteer events throughout the year that make large-scale differences in our community.
CORPORATE AND ORGANIZATION GROUPS
The Volunteer Resource Center specializes in finding service opportunities that meet the passions and interests of corporate, faith-based, civic and student groups. If you would like to find more ways your group can get involved in our community, contact us to customize an opportunity, or have us speak at your next meeting!
If you belong to a corporate or civic group and would like to plan a volunteer project, please e-mail the VRC at volunteercenter@HFUW.org.
INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES:
The Volunteer Resource Center manages a free volunteer website that is used by over 100 local nonprofits in need of volunteers. This website enables you to learn about local nonprofit organizations who need your help and to find one-day, ongoing or special event opportunities. You can even search by zip code, interests and agency name or check out the calendar of volunteer events to find a perfect fit for your passions. In addition, the search engine lets you view agencies’ volunteer wish lists.
