Be A Mindleader

Heart of Florida United Way is also committed to improving our community’s mental wellness by teaming up with AdventHealth for Children on our first-of-its-kind “Be a Mindleader” public awareness campaign. The campaign is designed to get people talking about mental health and reduce the stigma around it.

We are also proud to have expanded this campaign to help reach our community’s Hispanic, Spanish-speaking individual and families. “Lidera ConscienteMENTE,” an adaptation of the “Be A Mindleader” initiative, is curating expert information designed specifically for a multicultural Hispanic audience. This transcreated campaign gets information directly into the hands of adults to encourage open conversations about mental health with children, family or friends. the central florida HIV Planning Council

The Central Florida HIV Planning Council (CFHPC) is a community planning body that advises on the allocation of federal funds for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A & B and provides HIV prevention and care planning. The voices of People with HIV, those at risk of HIV, local healthcare providers, and others can be heard to address client needs and establish service priorities.

Heart of Florida United Way receives federal funds to conduct Planning Council Support activities.
