City of Winter Park Utilities

The Emergency Utility Assistance Program provides emergency assistance to Winter Park Electric Utility customer who is experiencing a financial emergency and in need of assistance.

Program Criteria:

  • Must be a Winter Park Electric Utility customer.
  • Must be customer of record or authorized on the account.
  • Not involved in criminal activity related to tampering.
  • Must provide: (1) Name & Contact Information, (2) Last Four Digits of Social Security Number, (3) Winter Park Utility Account Number
  • Assistance is limited to up to $650 per household in a 12-month period.

Duke Energy

The Energy Neighbor Fund, from Duke Energy, helps low-income families and individuals cover home energy bills.

Program Criteria:

  • Must be a Duke Energy customer in Orange, Osceola, or Seminole County.
  • Must be customer of record or authorized on the account.
  • Not involved in criminal activity related to tampering.
  • Must provide: (1) Name & Contact Information, (2) Current Photo ID, (3) Social Security Card for everyone in the household, and (4) Current Duke Energy bill.
  • Assistance is limited to up to $650 per household in a 12-month period

The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC)

OUC Project CARE helps provide emergency assistance to those in our community who have experienced a recent personal or family crisis that has placed them in danger of losing their utility service.

Program Criteria:

  • Must be an OUC customer in Orange or Osceola County.
  • Must be a customer of record or authorized on the account.
  • Not involved in criminal activity related to tampering.
  • Must provide: (1) Name and contact information, (2) OUC Account Number, and, (3) the last four digits of your Social Security number 
  • Assistance is limited to up to $500 per household in a 12-month period.
