Education is the bedrock of a thriving community and a skilled workforce.
Join Heart of Florida United Way on September 25th for our second quarterly Business United Connections Series, sponsored by Bank of America, to learn about the community’s need for educational support. This event will feature a discussion on the "Florida's Future Billions" report by Helios Education Foundation, which highlights how increasing the number of Floridians enrolled in college by 10% could inject $8.4 billion back into our economy every single year. After the presentation by Helios Education Foundation, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Jan Lloyd-Lesley, Associate Vice President of Student Development at Seminole State College.
