The local Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), a fundraising effort that includes all federal employees, totaled $1,242,307 in 2015. The dollar figure was announced at a campaign celebration held at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Lake Nona.

Funds will be used to improve community conditions globally. Nonprofit agencies that donors selected will receive designated funds to aid their missions.

“We truly believe that CFC is a worthwhile effort to support those in need, both nationwide, and right here in our own community,” said Captain Wes Naylor, U.S. Navy and 2015 Central Florida CFC Campaign Co-Chair.

Thousands of federal employees across 10 Central Florida counties contributed to the effort.

“We are proud of our fellow government employees’ contributions to the Central Florida community,” said John Meyers, Technical Director, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division and 2015 Central Florida CFC Campaign Co- Chair. “Together we make it possible.”
