It is with deep sadness that Heart of Florida United Way bids farewell to a longtime community supporter, James “Jim” Harrison. We send our deepest condolences to Jim’s loved ones during this difficult time.
After years of service to the Central Florida community, Jim has left a lasting legacy as both a champion of innovative transportation and as a philanthropist. He dedicated decades of his life to the growth of the public transportation system in Central Florida and was appointed CEO of Lynx in 2019.
Additionally, Jim was a proud leadership donor to Heart of Florida United Way since 1999 and a community pioneer for our neighbors combatting labor and financial challenges.
