Volunteer Tax Preparers Needed
Tax season is quickly approaching. VITA, or Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, volunteers play an essential role in helping our community become financially stable. With the help of our volunteers last year, almost 4,000 returns were prepared, resulting in more than $5.3 million in refunds provided to Central Floridians.
We’re getting ready for this tax season but need a few additional volunteer tax preparers at five priority sites! Take a look and see if you or your company might be able to help us at these locations from January 15 – April 15. No previous accounting or tax experience is required as all volunteers will be trained to be IRS-certified.
