Description: Plans, develops, implements, administers, evaluates and monitors an aggressive Direct Fund Raising Program targeting an assigned geographical area under the director of an Area Commander; develoops and secures funds through a variety of financial development vehicles including individual gifts and individual donor upgrading, corporate gifts and sponsorships, foundation support for specific programs and projects, government grants and priviate grants, capital campaigns and special events. Works directly and independently with local officers, their boards adn committees to develop promotional plans; plans and coordinates all public relations activities and volunteer activities and ensures compliance with the designated budget; confers directly with Divisional Headquarters administration and boards as well as with Teritorial Headquarters.

10/05/2007  Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc.  Teacher – Early Childhood Center
Salary:

Description: nurturing, stimulating and educating the children with developmentally appropriate practices while maintaining above the state minimum requirements for childcare facilities. Our center is licensed for 22 children from 0-5 years of age. Candidates must have completed 45 hours of state mandated childcare training classes. The ideal candidate will have a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or be in the process of obtaining it. They must also be First Aid/CPR certified and have 2 years experience in Early Childhood Education. Candidates should be knowledgeable of HRS & DCF requirements, Health & Safety regulations plus NEAYC Standards, as well as demonstrate positive reinforcement, open communications, flexibility, and sensitivity and have good organizational and planning skills

12/28/2007  Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc.   Kitchen Manager

Description: Overview: The Kitchen Manager will work with the Director of Kitchen Operations to facilitate the meal service program of the Agency. This includes ensuring meals are prepared according to health and nutrition standards and that kitchen activities are managed in accordance with policy and procedure. Responsibilities – A) Prepare and serve breakfast meal with the assistance of volunteers. B) Be responsible for the cleaning and organization of the kitchen area after each meal service. C) Be responsible for the evening meal service in the absence of the Director of Kitchen Operations. D) Be available to fill in when another Kitchen Manager is unable to report for service. E) Work with food donors and volunteers to ensure a happy, secure and efficient environment that will stimulate continued food donation and volunteer participation in the meal program. F) Receive and properly store all food donations in a timely manner. G) Supervise all resident volunteers during any food service aspect. H) Other duties assigned by the Director of Kitchen Operations. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED; relevant cooking and kitchen management experience; supervisory experience; customer service experience
