The Heart of Florida United Way Stewardship Program serves as a fund manager for more than $2 million in direct assistance for a network of emergency assistance agencies.
These agencies provide the case work, verify and document needs, determine client eligibility and submit assistance requests for vendor payment processing.
Because the top requests for services through United Way 2-1-1 are food, rent and utility assistance, the stewardship program is a vital component in coordinating and administering community funds to ensure people receive the critical help they need.
If you have any questions regarding the Stewardship Program, please contact Sarai Cabrera at 407-849-2368 or e-mail Sarai.Cabrera@hfuw.org.
