Also, if you stilll need to file your 2012-2013 taxes, consult the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, 100 East Robinson Street, Orlando, Fl 32801. Starting June 1st, 2014, the Legal Aid Society of Orange County will continue to file taxes.


What does VITA offer? 


Peace of mind- The VITA program generally offers free tax help to people who make $51,000 or less and need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.


Quality - IRS-certified volunteers will provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing.


Assistance - People will receive information about special tax credits for which you may qualify such as Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled.


Convenience - VITA sites are generally located at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools, shopping malls, and other convenient locations.
