Heart of Florida United Way's Gifts In Kind Center
Improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
You can help Central Florida nonprofits extend their resources and reduce their overhead costs by donating merchandise and materials through Heart of Florida United Way's Gifts In Kind Center.
The Gifts In Kind Center connects donated goods and merchandise to local, nonprofit, health & human services agencies and school PTAs. This mechanism provides an outlet for local donations and allows agencies to access much needed goods at a greatly reduced cost, thereby increasing their economic efficiency in providing services to their clients.

If you are interested in donating directly to the agency of your choice or would like to list the items you have available for donation on our web site, consider using the Gifts In Kind Center's Direct Referral option.
Please select the link for our online tool, select the Gifts In Kind Center option at the top of the page, and follow the instructions provided. You will be able to review the list of current agency donation needs as well as list the items you have to donate.

Requesting Items
To make an appointment, please contact the Gifts In Kind Center by telephone at 407-835-0900 and ask for extension 378.
To submit an order, please download and complete the Gifts In Kind Center Order Form and fax to 407-244-2809. (For a fillable form in Microsoft Excel that can be e-mailed, please contact Gifts In Kind Center staff.)
Please Remember: Only those staff who have signed your agency's Gifts In Kind Center application may request an appointment or submit an order form.

Gifts In Kind Center Direct Referral: List your donation needs online! Hundreds of volunteers and potential donors visit our web site each month, why not list your ongoing donation needs or view available donations in our local community?
To get started, visit our online tool and login as an agency. Select the tab for Gifts In Kind Center and follow the directions provided. You will be able to list all of your agency's short-term and long-term donation needs. Additionally, you will be able to view any donations currently listed on our web site by donors.

How to Become a Gifts In Kind Center Member Agency

Review the Gifts In Kind Center Program Membership Guide
which includes detailed information on the Gifts In Kind Center Program, as well as many agency responsibilities.

Complete Heart of Florida United Way's Volunteer Center Membership Application, including all pages in their entirety.
This application is a requirement for any Volunteer Center services as well as provides us with background information on your agency.

Provide a copy of your 501c3 documentation in the form of the letter received from the Internal Revenue Service. Certificates of Exemption will not be accepted.

Complete the Gifts In Kind Center Application--which provides us additional information regarding your agency's programs that would benefit from the Gifts In Kind Center as well as your ongoing in-kind donation needs--and any required attachments as explained on the application.

Submit your completed application(s), 501c3 documentation, and yearly membership fee to the Gifts in Kind Center at:
