Heart of Florida United Way is proud to collaborate with upliftED —a non-profit organization on a mission with an exciting goal: by the year 2025, upliftED aims to have 60% of our workforce holding a high-value credential or post-secondary degree.

A major step forward is ensuring students understand the different types of aid available to them.

That’s why we promote FAFSA or Free Application for Federal Student Aid. There is a range of financial aid available — including scholarships and grants that don’t need to be paid back.

The assistance is life-changing but setting out on the course to receive it can be overwhelming. Every year, students who did not file for assistance leave millions of dollars on the table

Families and students often see necessary steps as barriers, and that is where upliftED comes in. Their specialists create resources that help students navigate deadlines and paperwork, which makes the application process a little less daunting.

We’re proud to work with upliftED, and we look forward to continuing to work together to make education more accessible for all.
