United Way Emerging Leaders (UWEL) is our newest program designed to engage young professionals under 40 within Central Florida to make a positive and lasting impact in our community through their commitment to service and philanthropy.
Why Become an Emerging Leader?
As an Emerging Leader you will benefit from volunteering, networking and professional development opportunities throughout the year.
Connect through networking and social events. Share experiences and gain knowledge by connecting with community leaders and other young professionals within the Heart of Florida community.
Serve your community through volunteer opportunities. The Heart of Florida United Way's Investing in Results campaign has zoned in on four areas that will make the greatest impact on our community:
- Building Safe Communities through Education
- Improving Financial Stability
- Developing Healthy Children & Families
- Alleviating Hunger & Homelessness
Find your passion and get involved to make a difference.
Lead by example. Professional and personal development opportunities will allow members to enhance their skill and become better leaders.
Join a group of caring professionals who are excelling in their careers and helping to find lasting solutions to Central Florida's most critical issues.
