Heart of Florida United Way's Board of Directors provides leadership and sets policy for our organization. Board members serve as stewards of community dollars, they also understand United Way's legal responsibilities; review and approve annual budgets; and oversee agency and program funding decisions. These dedicated volunteers represent every facet of community life and are an invaluable asset to United Way and those we serve.

Chair: John Moskos, President Central Florida, Bank of America, oversees the bank's customer and community interests in Orange, Lake, Osceola and Seminole counties, as well as wealth management teams for U.S. Trust, a Bank of America subsidiary that provides investment, trust and banking services for high net-worth customers. |

Vice Chair: David Ruiz, President, Florida District UPS, directs small package operations and a workforce of 13,000 employees who serve in delivery centers across the state. Ruiz previously served in senior management positions with UPS in the Midwest, Mexico and Northern Europe. In 2011, he was named one of Hispanic Business Magazine's "Top Twenty Latino Leaders." |

Treasurer: James B. Cross, Managing Partner of Cross, Fernandez & Riley, LLP, is a certified public accountant who leads one of Central Florida’s premier accounting and business advisory firms. Prior to joining C/F/R, Cross was a managing partner with BDO Seidman offices in Memphis and Orlando. He also served with the international accounting firm KPMG. |

Secretary: E. Ann McGee, Ed.D, President of Seminole State College of Florida, leads the ninth largest institution within the Florida state college system. McGee has overseen significant growth in enrollment, degree programs and campus expansion. The college, which serves more than 32,700 students, ranks as Seminole County's third largest employer. |

President/CEO: Robert H. (Bob) Brown has led Heart of Florida United Way since 2006, during time he has ushered in a new era of growth, accountability and effectiveness. Throughout his four-decade career, Brown also served in executive roles with March of Dimes, The American Foundation for AIDS Research and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. |
