As Thousands of Local Families Struggle to Pay for Basic Needs, You Can Make a Difference This Year
|

Hardworking, well-meaning people in Central Florida are hurting - many of them families with children. This year the need is the most critical we've seen in decades.
Will you help?

With unemployment still high and good-paying jobs not returning, thousands of Central Floridians continue to struggle under the weight of difficult economic times. Many stand in need of basic necessities – utilities, shelter and food.
Last year alone, 163,596 tri-county residents sought basic needs assistance through United Way 2-1-1, and nearly two-thirds were first-time callers who never needed help before.
Please join with Heart of Florida United Way and our partner agencies in making a difference, right here, right now in our local community.
